    South Bend Blue Sox Women's Baseball, Inc., is an Indiana not-for-profit organization whose purposes are, but not limited to:

  • To serve as an advocacy resource for girls and women who are denied the opportunity to play baseball
  • Provide and promote playing/coaching baseball opportunities for girls and women
  • To advocate for the creation of all-girls baseball programs in major youth baseball organizations
  • Offer instructional playing/coaching clinics for girls and women
  • Educate and desseminate information to the public regarding the history of girls and women as baseball players and coaches   
  • Offer support to those organizations who are active in creating opportunities for girls and women in baseball  

     Since 1996, South Bend Blue Sox Women's Baseball, Inc., has been active in fielding girls and women's baseball teams; organizing regional, national and international baseball tournaments; assisting with advocacy issues for baseball opportunities; conducting baseball instructional clinics in the United States; conducting lectures and programs focusing on the history of girls and women in baseball and working with similar organizations who understand the need to challenge current societal beliefs about females playing baseball.
